TNC Pro Team and Mineski will be representing the SEA region for the PGL Major this coming March.
TNC Pro Team have had a busy schedule lately, fighting for the spots in various qualifiers against the best of the best that the SEA region could offer. At their final qualifier match for the month of January, they struck gold.
Their match with Execration in the SEA Region Qualifier Grand Finals last night was the last match they had in a string of qualifier round matches that stretched for almost a whole week. Their series of matches started with their breathtaking performance in the ESL ONE Katowice SEA Qualifier, where they valiantly fell to Fnatic. In their next qualifier, they would eventually lose to the new gatekeepers of SEA, Mineski, for the chance to represent the SEA region to StarLadder i-League Invitational 4.
For the Bucharest Major, almost all of TNC’s matches have been a systematic display of patience and perseverance, as their matches tended to be long and arduous. TNC showed their endurance by performing well in all of their matches, which eventually led to their win in the finals.
A highlight of the tournament was TNC and Fnatic’s rematch in the playoffs, just two days after their 5-game series for Katowice. Their matches with Fnatic may have given TNC the momentum to win the Grand Finals, as they swept Execration 2-0 in a dominating fashion.
The Bucharest Major will be TNC’s third DPC LAN event, following ESL One Genting.
