The Summit branches out to CS:GO this April

cssummitThe CS_Summit will pit 8 teams against each other.

The Summit is a beloved tournament series that started out with Dota 2, featuring a casual, chill atmosphere, due to being held at the Beyond The Summit house in California, instead of a big stadium with a roaring crowd, and will surely feature some interesting entertainment segments for the viewers to enjoy.

This year, they’ll be expanding into Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, with the first ever CS_Summit. It boasts a $150,000 prize pool and will run between April 20-23, 2017. The broadcast talents are also well-known, as Alex “machine” Richardson will be hosting the analyst panel composed of Janko “YNk” Paunovic, Robin “fifflaren” Joansson, and Josue “steel” Nissan. Daniel “ddk Kapadia and James “JZFB” Bardolph will be casting the matches, and the trio of Heather “sapphire” Garozzo, DJ Prius and Efren will be observing the games.

The eight participating teams are as follows:

  • Team Liquid
  • OpTic Gaming
  • Team EVyUs
  • GODSENT
  • Ninjas in Pyjamas
  • SK Gaming
