Two teams in the SEA region locks in with new rosters ahead of many other SEA teams changing lineups before the seasonal lockout.

DeToNator is a Japanese esports organization, whose last Dota roster disbanding in late 2016, after not being able to qualify in any major tournament. In a surprising turn of events, the organization revealed its newest roster last Thursday, consisting an all-Filipino lineup. Ab1ng, Cartman, Owa, Bok and Gio takes up the DeToNator flag and are set to make some waves not only in the Philippines, but in the whole of the SEA landscape.

Meanwhile, as DeToNator picked up an all-Filipino team for their newest version, Entity Gaming on the other hand let go of three of their Filipino players, namely Teehee, Eyyou, and the earlier mentioned Ab1ng. The team’s captain, Jobeeezy, remains as the team’s captain. With a new lineup composed of two Danes, NoiA and HesteJoe-Rotten, Romanian Arise and Singaporean Luk 火, it’s going to be a tough challenge for Jobeeezy to effectively communicate and cooperate with his teammates.

There’s still no information on where Teehee and Eyyou would head to next. However, the SEA Shuffle hasn’t ended yet, as TNC Pro Team’s 1437 still teamless, Armel is also still without a team, and Team Admiral just locking in with Benhur as their midlaner. With Clutch Gamers yet to announce their new lineup, one could only speculate where our Filipino players will continue their careers.
