Try your luck and prove your skill in TNC Cyber Café’s TNC eSports Cup tournament!
With the success of Skyville in the first leg of this year’s TNC Cup, who took home 30,000 pesos thanks to an impressive undefeated run at the LAN playoffs at the High Grounds Café, TNC is proud to present the 2nd leg for Dota 2.
Similar to the previous leg, primary branch qualifiers will be held, which are open to all registrants from 11am-12nn on these dates:
The branch qualifiers will be held in single-elimination, best-of-one format, with the top 8 teams moving on to a two-group round robin, and the top 2 teams from each group will then play a single-elimination bracket – where the final best-of-three will then decide the branch representative team that will go on to the inter-brach elimination stage, along with a prize of 3,000 pesos.
The inter-branch eliminations, taking place on the 4th of June, will see each branch representative undergo a round-robin format against the other representatives from their group, and the team with the highest match score will earn their slot to the Grand Finals.
The Grand Finals will once again take place at the High Grounds Café, this time on the 17th of June, and feature a total prize pool of 50,000 pesos – with 30,000, 10,000 and 5,000 going to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd/4th placers respectively. Securing a slot also includes an all-expense paid trip to Manila, which includes travel fares and accommodation.
So, to all amateur teams or prospective players out there, why not try out and join? You might end up starting your professional gaming career right here.
